We snuck away over the Halloween weekend and discovered that it is the perfect time for quiet getaway. The Airstream was decorated with orange lights and spiders, and it seemed to awaken something underground!

During this trip we wanted to look at the Boulder Creek, near Moffat Tunnel. I had heard that the fly fishing in the area has been improving. I only wish there was more public water. It looks like it may be owned by the railroad company and private land owners. We did find an open area and there were signs of fish (a nice sized brown trout on the side of the bank). I casted in some nice water, but no luck. If you have any info on this area, please send me an email and let me know, I’d greatly appreciate it.

We had a few visitors on the trail camera. We couldn’t tell what the animal standing in front of the camera was. But, we did get a lot of pictures of a big bunny hopping around. 🙂
