We invited our good friend, Tom, to join us on this exciting excursion into pop-up camping. We spent time hiking around the many trails, playing games, and familiarizing ourselves with our new toy. It even snowed on us! We were warm as can be inside the new pop-up—the furnace worked great.

During the weekends Golden Gate has lectures and trail walks for the kids to enjoy. The mountain trails are mostly straight up and down, but there is a meadow hike that lasts a few miles. During the main camping season Reverend’s Ridge has hot showers and a laundry room. Showers are .25¢.

We were able to have our first glamping meal: Chicken parmesan!
